This program offers all kinds of before and after school enrichment throughout the area, “Kids Night Out” events, PTA Association Meetings and half-day enrichment activities. They currently work with many area schools including Beagle Preschool, Saratoga Independent School, Malta Ave. Elementary School, Saratoga YMCA, Lake Ave. Elementary School, Caroline Street Elementary School, Dorothy Nolan Elementary School and many more.
WE ARE SO PLEASED TO HAVE GREENFIELD RECREATION DEPARTMENT BRING THESE PROGRAMS TO OUR TOG COMMUNITY. See all the classes we are offering this summer below. The half-day programs will take place primarily at the Greenfield Community Center, 25 Wilton Road. (There are some classes that feature one day at Middle Grove Park.) All of our Greenfield programs takes place during the weeks of August 4-8 or August 11-15. They are five, half-day programs. See below.

A Look at the Women Behind the Beta Community Program
Tammy Haarman and Rebecca Carulli have a combined 12 years of experience working for students via the PTA programs at Saratoga Springs City School District. They work hard to develop business relationships to look for new educational experiences for local children.

LEGO ENGINEERING AND BRAIN GAMES
This class not only introduces students to challenging brain games but also allows them to explore key STEM concepts while building and designing with LEGO bricks. Each day kids will receive a new LEGO challenge and they’ll get a chance to free build and complete their project by the end of the week. A variety of brain games and puzzles will keep everyone thinking. Rising kindergartners and up are welcome. Taught by Miss Carrie Emigh.
CROCHET 101
This is a beginner-level class that teaches the fundamental techniques of crochet, including how to hold a crochet hook, create basic stitches like the chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet. Students start making simple crochet projects. Rising third graders and up are welcome. Taught by Miss Eva Lazer.
SUMMER BAKING WORKSHOP
In this program, budding chefs will get to create scrumptious snacks while picking up some nifty kitchen skills and learning about the science of cooking. Each day, students will bake/decorate something new with a flexible mindset. Students will learn about the overall baking process from reading through the recipe to start, to altering a recipe and understanding the nutritional values of what they are cooking and eating. Rising kindergartners and up are welcome. The class is taught by Caroline Travis.
RECYLCLED ART TREASURES
A fun-filled class utilizing recycled materials. Students will appreciate how found and recycled objects can be transformed into useful and creative items. Rising kindergartners and up are welcome. Taught by Kelly Jo Wanczyk. Photos coming soon.
